What we do for Automotive

SEO Services

For dealers, automotive SEO means inventory pages that rank for make, model and city, sold-vehicle pages handled properly, and model research content that meets buyers before they reach the classifieds. For service businesses it means one strong page per service, written the way drivers describe the problem.

Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Repair shops, body shops, tyre centres and car buyers live or die in the Maps pack. We fix categories and service areas, build a review routine your service advisors will follow, and scan rankings on a geo-grid so you can see exactly which suburbs or districts still send their calls elsewhere.

Website Design & Development

Dealer sites need fast inventory search and pages that survive feed updates. Repair shops need a booking form and a phone number that's tappable everywhere. Auto recyclers need an instant-quote form. We build all three, with call and form tracking from launch.

Web & Mobile App Development

When off-the-shelf software doesn't fit how the yard or workshop runs, we build what does: instant-quote tools, customer portals, service dashboards and integrations with dealer systems. We also design and run SaaS products of our own, such as GBPHive, which tracks map rankings and reviews for businesses with several locations.

Google Ads & PPC Management

Search ads work for urgent intent: towing, brake repair, selling a car today. We build campaigns around those searches, track calls and form fills as conversions, and cut spend on terms that bring tyre-kickers. For dealers, we run brand and model campaigns tied to live stock.

CRM Implementation & Automation

A car dealership CRM should catch every lead from the website, classifieds, OEM portal, WhatsApp and the showroom floor, assign it in minutes and chase it until it's closed or lost. We set up HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce for dealers and connect them to the tools you already use.

The detail

Three very different searches drive automotive businesses. Someone buying a car researches for weeks across classifieds, brand sites and dealer pages. Someone with a warning light on wants a trusted shop nearby, today. Someone selling an old car wants a price and a tow. Automotive SEO works only when each search gets its own kind of page.

Mixing them is the most common mistake we see. A dealer group puts its service department on one paragraph of the homepage. A repair shop writes a blog about car buying. An auto recycler’s site talks about the company history while the visitor wants to know one thing: what will you pay for my car, and when can you pick it up?

We start every automotive engagement by sorting your revenue into those three intents, then building pages, profiles and ads for each.

Automotive SEO for dealers: making inventory pages rank

Dealer SEO lives on inventory and model pages. Vehicle detail pages come and go with stock, so lasting rankings come from model pages, search results pages for make and city, and research content that stays live. Individual listings should be indexable while the car is for sale, then redirected sensibly once it’s sold.

Dealers in the Gulf compete with classifieds such as dubizzle and Haraj, which rank for nearly every make and model search. You won’t outrank them on “used Land Cruiser” alone. You can win the searches that include your city, your brand franchise, a trim level or a service need, and the branded searches buyers make after seeing your car on a classified site.

One limitation to know: Google’s vehicle ads, which show cars with photos and prices directly in search, are fully released only in the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan, with open betas in a handful of European markets (Google’s vehicle ads availability). Gulf dealers have to rely on standard search, Performance Max and their own pages instead.

Auto repair marketing: winning the “near me” call

Auto repair marketing is mostly local SEO. Drivers with a problem search on their phone, compare the three shops on the map by distance, rating and photos, then call. The shop with the most specific category, the most recent reviews and real workshop photos usually gets that call.

The work that moves a repair shop up the map:

  • Primary category: specific, matched to your main revenue (a transmission shop shouldn’t sit under a generic category).
  • Services: every job you do, listed in the words drivers use: “AC regas”, “brake pads”, “pre-purchase inspection”.
  • Reviews: a direct review link sent by text after pickup, when the car is running well.
  • Geo-grid tracking: our free Google Maps rank tracker shows where you rank street by street, which is how we judge whether anything worked.

Our page on how to rank higher on Google Maps goes through the same steps in more detail.

What we learned building for auto recyclers

Auto recycling is a phone business disguised as a web business. Sellers want an offer and a pickup time, quickly, and the business that answers first usually buys the car. Websites and local SEO only pay off when the quote form, the phone line and the follow-up are built for speed.

We built the websites and run local SEO and lead generation for junkcars.cash in Chicago and junk.cash in Milwaukee, and we built the site and run SEO for Cash for Junk Cars Chicago. The playbook is the same in both cities, adapted to each market’s searches and suburbs: a short form asking only for what’s needed to quote, a phone number on every screen, service-area pages for the neighbourhoods that matter, and a geo-grid that shows where the next push should go. Our local SEO service in Chicago is built on that work.

Working for several separate recycler clients is how we learned what sellers respond to: a fast offer, a firm pickup time and a phone that gets answered. That knowledge feeds back into every recycler site we build, and into any quoting or dispatch tool a yard asks us for.

Car dealership CRM: where leads go to die

At most dealers we talk to, the weak point is follow-up. Leads arrive from the website, classifieds, the brand’s portal, WhatsApp, phone and walk-ins, and land in different inboxes. A car dealership CRM brings them into one pipeline, assigns each to a salesperson within minutes and keeps chasing until a result is logged.

What a working automotive CRM setup includes:

  1. Every lead source connected, including WhatsApp and the classifieds. In the US, many third-party lead providers send leads in the ADF/XML format, which a good CRM can read directly.
  2. Routing rules by brand, branch and language.
  3. Test drive booking with reminders, so fewer appointments are missed.
  4. Service reminders and trade-in prompts that bring owners back.

We set these up through our CRM implementation service, on HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce depending on the size of the group and the DMS it runs.

Review and advertising rules for automotive businesses

Reviews carry more weight in automotive than almost anywhere, which is why regulators watch them. In the United States, the FTC’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, in effect since October 2024, bans buying reviews that must be positive, undisclosed insider reviews and threats used to suppress negative reviews (FTC guidance).

For a dealer or shop, that rules out a few common habits: offering a service discount for five-star reviews, staff reviewing their own workshop without saying so, and pressuring an unhappy customer to take a review down. Ask every customer, reply to every review, and fix the problem the bad ones describe. The same habits keep you on the right side of Google’s own review policies in the Gulf.

Questions

What is automotive SEO?

Automotive SEO is search optimization for car dealers, repair shops, parts sellers and auto recyclers. For dealers it focuses on inventory and model pages; for service businesses it focuses on Google Maps, reviews and service pages. The common thread is turning searches into calls, test drives and booked jobs.

What's the difference between a DMS and a car dealership CRM?

A dealer management system runs the business: stock, deals, finance, service orders and accounting. A CRM runs the relationship: leads, follow-ups, test drives, reminders and repeat business. Many dealers have a DMS and treat it as a CRM, which is why leads go cold. The two should share data, not replace each other.

Which automotive CRM do you recommend?

It depends on your size, your DMS and your lead sources. Large groups often need Salesforce's flexibility; smaller dealers and workshops usually do well on HubSpot or Zoho. We pick after mapping where your leads come from and what your sales team will actually use every day.

How can an auto repair shop get more calls from Google Maps?

Choose the most specific primary category, list every service you offer, ask every customer for a review with a direct link, add real photos of the workshop and team, and keep hours accurate. Then track rankings on a geo-grid, because a shop can rank first on its own street and nowhere a few kilometres away.

Should dealers keep pages for sold cars?

Usually not as live listings, but don't just delete them either. Redirect sold-vehicle pages to the closest matching model or search results page, so links and visitors land somewhere useful. Model-level pages that persist across stock changes are what build rankings over time.

Can you build software for a junkyard or auto recycler?

Yes. Most of our recycler work so far is on the lead side: we built the websites and run local SEO and lead generation for junkcars.cash and junk.cash, and built Cash for Junk Cars Chicago, so we know how sellers behave. They want a price, a pickup time and a fast answer. For yard software, we'd scope a quoting tool or pickup dispatch board around how your lot actually runs, built by the team that designs and runs our own SaaS products.

Do you work with car dealers in the Gulf as well as the US?

Yes. We're based in Dubai, work with automotive businesses across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and run local SEO and lead generation for auto recyclers in Chicago and Milwaukee. The search habits differ, from classifieds to WhatsApp, but the lead-handling problems are much the same.
