VDESIGNU is a digital marketing and design studio that works from Dubai with businesses in Doha and across Qatar. We run SEO and AI search, build bilingual websites and apps, manage Google Ads, design brands and set up CRMs for MOCI-licensed companies and firms in the QFC and Qatar's free zones.

What we do in Doha

SEO Services

Rankings for the phrases Qatar buyers actually type, which usually name the country rather than Doha. We research English and Arabic separately and build pages for specific products instead of one thin page claiming the whole GCC.

Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Google Business Profiles set up around Qatar's zone, street and building numbers so the pin lands where customers expect it, then reviews, citations and geo-grid scans from West Bay out to Lusail and Al Wakrah.

AI SEO & GEO

Getting your company named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot for a supplier in Qatar. Most Doha businesses have thin English coverage and almost no Arabic content, so the gap is easier to close than in Dubai.

Website Design & Development

Bilingual websites with Arabic treated as a first language, checkouts that accept Qatari NAPS debit cards, and forms built around Qatar's personal data law, on Astro, Next.js, WordPress or Shopify.

Web & Mobile App Development

Customer apps, portals and internal tools for users who already expect government-grade apps like Metrash2. Arabic and English from the first wireframe, with payments and data handling planned for Qatar.

Google Ads & PPC Management

Google Ads for a compact national market, where tight location settings and a Ramadan and National Day calendar matter more than big budgets. Tracking ends at the WhatsApp chat or the phone call.

Branding & Logo Design

Names, logos and identity systems that meet Qatar's Arabic language law, which expects an Arabic company name and gives Arabic the prominent place on trademarks. We draw both scripts together.

CRM Implementation & Automation

HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce connected to WhatsApp, your website and your ads, with consent records that line up with Qatar's PDPPL and leads routed by language and service.

The Doha market

Why Qatar searches name the country, not the city

Ask a facilities manager in West Bay how she found her last supplier and she’ll tell you she typed the service and “qatar”. Doha holds most of the country’s businesses, so buyers rarely narrow it down.

So titles and headings carry the country phrase, body copy mentions Doha, Lusail or Al Wakrah where it’s true, and service pages go after specific needs (“industrial valves supplier qatar”) rather than one broad page. Volumes are smaller than in Dubai, which means one well-matched page can win a real share of a niche.

MOCI, the QFC, the free zones and Dar Al Sharikat

Where you’re licensed shapes who you can sell to. Mainland companies get their commercial registration from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, mostly through the Single Window platform, and sell across the local market. Qatar Financial Centre firms work under the QFC’s own legal framework from designated premises such as the QFC towers in West Bay, usually selling professional or financial services.

Qatar Free Zones run Ras Bufontas beside Hamad International Airport and Umm Alhoul beside Hamad Port, for logistics, light manufacturing, technology and maritime firms. Qatar Science & Technology Park sits inside Education City, and Media City Qatar is headquartered in Msheireb Downtown Doha. In September 2026 the ministry launched Dar Al Sharikat, a Companies House giving those four zones one point of contact for registration and licensing.

In Dubai, Arabic is a smart addition. In Qatar it’s written into law. Law No. 7 of 2019 on the Protection of the Arabic Language expects companies to have Arabic names and puts Arabic first on trademarks.

Expat professionals and many B2B buyers search in English. Qatari decision-makers, government entities and family groups often prefer Arabic, and what they type rarely mirrors your English keyword list. We research and write both, and build right-to-left layouts properly instead of flipping an English template.

The sectors that set the pace

  • Energy and LNG. QatarEnergy’s North Field expansion and Ras Laffan Industrial City support a long chain of contractors and suppliers whose buyers search by product and specification.
  • Government. Qatar National Vision 2030, the Third National Development Strategy and the Digital Agenda 2030 keep digital projects coming, with Arabic-first documents.
  • Real estate. Lusail, The Pearl-Qatar and Msheireb draw the attention, and brokers are now licensed by Aqarat, the regulator set up in 2023.
  • Hospitality. Qatar Tourism licenses and classifies hotels.
  • Education. Education City hosts branch campuses such as Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon and Weill Cornell alongside Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

What we can show you is GCC work like the website, SEO and catalog platform we built for Triune, an oilfield and industrial supplier in Dubai.

Rules to plan around before you collect a lead

Qatar was the first GCC state with a standalone data protection law. Law No. 13 of 2016 makes consent the main basis for processing personal data and is overseen by the National Cyber Security Agency, while QFC firms follow their own Data Protection Regulations. The Ministry of Public Health’s circulars cover healthcare advertising online, and property marketing runs under Aqarat’s licensing. If you take payments, remember that many residents pay with NAPS debit cards, which not every international gateway accepts.

How we work with Doha companies from Dubai

We’re one hour ahead of Doha. Qatar’s weekend is Friday and Saturday and the UAE’s is Saturday and Sunday, so we plan reviews for Monday to Thursday. Calls happen on video and WhatsApp, and we fly in when a project needs a room. To see rankings as a Doha searcher does, we use our own Chrome extension for checking Google from another city.

Most Qatar clients start with one of these:

Questions

Do you have an office in Doha?

No. We're based in Dubai and work with Qatar clients remotely, over video calls, WhatsApp and shared project boards. Doha is a short flight away, so we travel for workshops or launches when a project needs it.

Should we target 'Doha' or 'Qatar' in our SEO?

Mostly Qatar. Buyers here usually search by country, so 'web design qatar' gets far more searches than 'web design doha'. We put the country phrase in titles and headings and still mention Doha and its districts in the copy.

Can a QFC or free zone company use a .com.qa domain?

The Communications Regulatory Authority reserves .com.qa for companies registered in Qatar, while .qa is open to anyone, both through CRA-accredited registrars. QFC, QSTP and free zone companies are registered in Qatar, so confirm your documents with the registrar first.

Does Qatar's Arabic language law affect our website and branding?

It can. Law No. 7 of 2019 expects companies to carry Arabic names and gives Arabic the most prominent place on trademarks. Internationally known names can keep the foreign name with Arabic alongside it.

Which data protection law applies to our website in Qatar?

Most companies fall under Law No. 13 of 2016, the Personal Data Privacy Protection Law, overseen by the National Cyber Security Agency. QFC firms follow the QFC's own Data Protection Regulations instead.

How much does a marketing agency in Qatar cost?

It depends on the services, your sector's competition and how much already works. We start with a short audit and a call, then scope a proposal around what we find.
