Local SEO Services
Local SEO is the work that puts your business in the Google Maps pack when someone nearby searches for what you sell. We optimize your Google Business Profile, fix your citations and location pages, build a review engine, and measure every change on a geo-grid, the same way our free GBP Rank Tracker does.
Start a projectWhat you get
Google Business Profile optimization
Primary and secondary categories, services, products, attributes, hours, photos and description, set against what the businesses already in the Maps pack for your keywords actually use.
Geo-grid rank tracking
We scan your keywords across a grid of points around your location, so you see where you rank street by street instead of one average number from one spot.
Review generation and response
A request flow your staff will actually use (direct review links, QR codes, follow-up timing) plus a response routine for every review, good or bad.
Citations and NAP consistency
Your name, address and phone made identical across the directories and data aggregators Google cross-checks, with duplicates and old listings cleaned up.
Location and service-area pages
Pages on your own site that give Google a reason to show you in each area you serve, with LocalBusiness schema that matches your profile exactly.
Spam and competitor fighting
Fake listings and keyword-stuffed business names push real businesses out of the pack. We document them and report them through Google's redressal process.
The detail
Why Google Maps decides who gets the call
Search “car key replacement near me” on your phone and look at what fills the screen. Three businesses on a map, with stars, opening hours and a call button. Most people never scroll past them. That box is the local pack, and it’s where most local buying decisions now start.
Google picks those three businesses on three factors it has described itself: relevance (does the profile match the search), distance (how far the business is from the searcher), and prominence (how well known and well reviewed it is). You can’t move your shop. You can make your profile the most relevant and the most trusted in your area. Local SEO is that work.
What we actually do on a Google Business Profile
Most profiles we audit fail on the boring fields, not the clever ones. The wrong primary category is the most common one. A dental clinic set to “Medical clinic” instead of “Dentist” is invisible for half its searches, and no amount of posting fixes that.
Our profile work follows the same order every time:
- Categories: matched to what the top-ranking competitors on your grid use, then tested.
- Services and products: written in the words customers search with, not internal jargon.
- Business name: your real name. Stuffing keywords into it is against Google’s guidelines and gets profiles suspended.
- Photos, hours, attributes: real photos of the place and the team, holiday hours set ahead of time.
- Description and posts: useful, specific, and short.
Why we measure on a grid, not a single rank
Normal rank trackers check one location, which tells you very little about a map result. Your ranking changes block by block. So we built GBP Rank Tracker, a free open-source desktop app that scans a grid of points around a business and draws the result as a heatmap. We use the same method on every client engagement. When we say a change worked, you see the grid turn green around your location.
When you want to check what a searcher in another city sees in Google’s normal results, our Search Location Changer extension does that from your browser.
Reviews: the part most businesses leave to luck
Review count, rating and freshness all feed prominence. The businesses that win don’t have better customers. They ask more often, at the right moment, with less friction. We set up direct review links (our review link generator makes one in seconds), QR codes for the counter, and follow-up messages timed to when the customer is happiest. Then we answer every review, including the bad ones, because future customers read the replies.
Citations and your own website
Google cross-checks your business details against directories, maps apps and data aggregators. If your old address is still live on twenty sites, that’s a trust problem. We find and fix those listings, then build the on-site half: location pages that are actually different from each other, and LocalBusiness schema that matches your profile word for word.
Fake listings are a real ranking factor
In competitive niches the pack is often crowded with fake listings, duplicates and businesses with keywords stuffed into their names. They take the spots your profile has earned. We document them and report them through Google’s business redressal form. It’s slow, unglamorous work, and it moves rankings when nothing else will.
Where this fits with the rest of your search
Local SEO wins the map. Your website still has to win the organic results below it, and increasingly the AI answers above it. If you need all three, SEO services covers the organic side and AI SEO covers visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews.

How we work
- 01
Baseline scan
A geo-grid scan for your money keywords, a profile audit, and a citation check, so we know where you rank today and why.
- 02
Fix the profile and the site
Categories, services, photos, hours, schema and location pages go first, because Google reads those changes fastest.
- 03
Citations and reviews
Directory cleanup and a review request routine start in week one and run for the whole engagement.
- 04
Re-scan and report
Every month we re-run the same grid and show what moved, what didn't, and what we're changing next.
Questions
What do local SEO services include?
Google Business Profile optimization, geo-grid rank tracking, review generation and response, citation cleanup, location pages with LocalBusiness schema, and reporting fake competitor listings. Our engagements cover all six, prioritized by what your baseline scan shows.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Profile fixes such as categories and services often show movement on the grid within a few weeks. Review volume and citation cleanup build more slowly, usually over a few months. We show both in the monthly re-scan rather than promising a date.
Can I do local SEO myself?
Yes, and many small businesses should start that way. Claim and complete your Google Business Profile, ask every happy customer for a review, and keep your name, address and phone identical everywhere. Hire help when you're stuck outside the top three on the grid and don't know why.
How much do local SEO services cost?
It depends on how many locations you have, how competitive your keywords are, and how much is broken today. We scope it after a free baseline scan, so the proposal reflects your actual grid and profile rather than a generic package.
What is a geo-grid rank tracker?
A geo-grid tracker checks your Google Maps ranking from many points around your business (a 7×7 grid, for example) and colors each point by position. It shows that you might rank first next to your office and fifteenth two kilometres away, which a single rank number hides.
Do you work with businesses that have no physical storefront?
Yes. Service-area businesses such as plumbers, movers, car buyers and mobile clinics can have a Google Business Profile with a hidden address. The work shifts toward service-area settings, location pages and reviews that mention the areas you cover.
Do you only do local SEO in Dubai?
No. We're based in Dubai and work with businesses across the UAE and the Gulf, and our local SEO projects include auto recyclers in Chicago and Milwaukee. Google Maps ranking works the same way everywhere; what changes is the competition and the directories that matter.
