What we do in Kuwait City

SEO Services

Rankings on google.com.kw for the country-level searches Kuwaiti buyers type, such as "web design kuwait" rather than a district name. Technical fixes, Arabic keyword research done separately from the English, and pages that answer what a buyer in Salmiya or Jahra wants to know before calling.

Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Google Business Profiles for shops, clinics and showrooms across the Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya and Ahmadi governorates. We track visibility on a geo-grid, keep your area, block and street written the same way everywhere, and build a routine for reviews in both languages.

AI SEO & GEO

We test what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews say when someone asks them to recommend a company in Kuwait, in English and in Arabic. Then we fix the entity, schema and content gaps so your business is the one they name.

Website Design & Development

Websites and online stores for Kuwait with proper right-to-left Arabic, a KNET checkout through a local gateway, pages that load fast on a phone, and a structure search engines can read. Built on Astro, Next.js, WordPress or Shopify depending on who will run it day to day.

Web & Mobile App Development

React Native mobile apps, customer portals, and booking or ordering systems for Kuwait companies. KNET payments, Arabic interfaces and the consent screens that CITRA's privacy regulation expects from any app collecting personal data are planned in from the first sketch.

Google Ads & PPC Management

Google Ads aimed at enquiries and orders, with Meta campaigns added where Instagram is where your customers shop. We set up call, WhatsApp and checkout tracking properly, including the KNET redirect that breaks most purchase tracking, so you see which campaign produced the sale.

Branding & Logo Design

Positioning, naming and identity systems with Arabic and English logotypes drawn together, for a market where people often meet your brand first on an Instagram grid or a Snapchat story. Packaging and guidelines included, with trademark checks done before anything goes to print.

CRM Implementation & Automation

HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce configured so Instagram DMs, WhatsApp chats, website forms and ad leads land in one record, reach the right salesperson and get a follow-up. Built for the point where a Kuwait team outgrows a phone full of unanswered chats.

The Kuwait City market

Why do Kuwait buyers search for the country, not the city?

Kuwait is compact enough that people treat it as one market. Someone looking for a web designer types “web design kuwait”, and the keyword data we use shows the country-level phrase beating “kuwait city” for nearly every service. So we build pages around the country term and use districts as supporting detail.

Location still matters on the map. A pharmacy search from Jahra returns different Maps results than the same search from Salmiya, and a showroom in Al Rai near The Avenues has different rivals than a boutique on Salem Al Mubarak Street. Country for keywords, district for Google Maps.

Licensing, MOCI and KDIPA: what your setup changes

How your company is licensed shapes your marketing. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry issues commercial licences, runs the Kuwait Business Center for new companies and handles trademark registration. Foreign investors who want full ownership go through the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), which can license fully foreign-owned businesses.

In practice, the legal name on your licence should match your Google Business Profile and website footer, or verification gets awkward. And KDIPA-licensed companies are often regional offices selling to other businesses, so their content needs a procurement angle.

Behind it all sits New Kuwait, the Kuwait Vision 2035 plan adopted in 2017 to grow the private sector and make the country a regional financial and commercial hub. Competing for private customers means your website has to do more of the selling.

A market that grew up on Instagram

Plenty of Kuwaiti brands began as an Instagram account with a WhatsApp number in the bio. That’s no accident: the US government’s Kuwait commercial guide names Instagram and Snapchat as the platforms for reaching Kuwaitis, and notes that local influencers are hired often.

It works until it doesn’t. Google won’t rank your posts for “abaya kuwait”, and AI assistants have little to cite when your story lives in Stories. We keep Instagram as the shop window and build a website and a search presence in Kuwait behind it.

Arabic, English and the Kuwaiti voice

Arabic is Kuwait’s official language and English is widely used in business, so most companies need both. A bank or an old merchant family will be judged on the quality of its Arabic. A café in Sharq might caption in Kuwaiti dialect and keep its menu site in English.

We research Arabic search terms separately (our free planner for Gulf Arabic keywords is a decent starting point), build true right-to-left layouts, and decide with you where dialect belongs and where formal Arabic reads better.

Rules that touch your website, data and ads

Kuwait has no single general data protection law. Instead, CITRA (the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority) applies its Data Privacy Protection Regulation, Decision No. 26 of 2024, to anyone running a website, app or cloud service that collects personal data. Expect explicit consent, plain terms in Arabic and English, deletion on request, and breach notification within 24 hours.

Sectors add their own layer. Banks answer to the Central Bank of Kuwait, so ads pass compliance first. Suppliers to Kuwait Oil Company and the other KPC subsidiaries sell through formal procurement, which rewards detailed technical pages over slogans; see our notes on how we market oilfield and energy suppliers.

How we work with Kuwait City companies from Dubai

Most Kuwait work starts with one problem, such as a site that doesn’t rank or leads scattered across phones. We fix that first.

Where to go from here: web design in Kuwait for a new site or store, mobile app development in Kuwait for ordering and booking apps, Google Ads management in Kuwait City for paid search, and CRM setup for Kuwait sales teams once enquiries need structure. Or just tell us what you’re working on.

Questions

Do you have an office in Kuwait?

No. We work from Dubai and serve Kuwait clients remotely, over video calls, WhatsApp and shared dashboards. Kuwait is one hour behind the UAE, so our working days overlap for most of the week, and Dubai is a short flight away when a workshop in person makes sense.

Can our website take KNET payments?

Yes, through a payment gateway that supports KNET. KNET payments are in Kuwaiti dinars and send the customer to a KNET payment page to enter their card details, so we design the checkout, the return page and your purchase tracking around that redirect.

Does Kuwait have a data protection law that affects our website?

There's no single general data protection law, but CITRA's Data Privacy Protection Regulation (Decision No. 26 of 2024) covers anyone running a website, app or cloud service that collects personal data. It expects clear consent, terms written plainly in Arabic and English, and breach reporting within 24 hours.

We sell well on Instagram. Do we still need a website?

If you want Google traffic, AI recommendations or a checkout you control, yes. Instagram is excellent for discovery in Kuwait, but Google can't rank your posts for product searches and you don't own the audience. A website turns that attention into something searchable and measurable.

How much does a digital marketing agency in Kuwait cost?

It depends on which services you need, how competitive your category is and how much already exists. We look at your site, your search visibility and your channels first, then scope a proposal after a call.
