School & University Marketing
We help private schools, nurseries, universities and training institutes fill their places: school website design, school marketing, university SEO, admissions campaigns and admissions CRM. We work from Dubai, so we plan around KHDA's advertising approval and the inspection ratings parents check through KHDA and ADEK.

SEO Services
University SEO and school SEO built on programme and curriculum pages that match how students and parents search, including searches from international applicants in their own countries. On large university sites we also fix the technical mess: course finders, PDF prospectuses and forgotten microsites.
Local SEO & Google Business Profile
Parents look for nurseries and schools by area first. We set up a Google Business Profile for each campus, keep its details identical to your licence, and run a review routine, since families read reviews closely when they draw up a shortlist.
Website Design & Development
School website design that answers a parent's questions in the order they ask them: curriculum, results and inspection rating, admissions steps, transport, fee information and a tour booking. Bilingual where your families need it, and simple for the admissions team to keep current.
Google Ads & PPC Management
Admissions campaigns timed to the enrolment cycle and open days, with a landing page per curriculum, year group or programme. In Dubai, creative goes to KHDA for approval before it runs, so that lead time is part of the plan from the start.
Branding & Logo Design
Brand work for new schools and for rebrands after a change of owner, operator or curriculum: name, crest or logo, a bilingual identity, and guidelines that hold up on uniforms, prospectuses, the website and social media.
CRM Implementation & Automation
An admissions CRM that tracks each family from enquiry to tour, assessment, offer and enrolment, with sibling links, waitlists and re-enrolment reminders. Website forms, WhatsApp and open-day sign-ups all land in one pipeline your admissions team can manage.
The detail
How families choose a school, and where marketing fits
Parents choose a school with a spreadsheet and a gut feeling. The spreadsheet has curriculum, distance, fees, inspection rating and availability. The gut feeling comes from the tour, from other parents, and from how the school answers a WhatsApp message on a Sunday evening.
School marketing earns its place on both. It gets you onto the shortlist through search, Maps and referrals, and it gets the family through the door for a tour. Everything after that is admissions. The schools that fill reliably treat marketing and admissions as one funnel, with one set of numbers, which is why the CRM matters as much as the ads.
What a school website has to answer before a parent will call
A school website is read by a parent comparing four schools on a phone at 10pm. They want answers, fast, in the order they think of them. Curriculum and how it’s taught. Inspection report and results. How admissions works and whether there’s a place for their child’s year group. Transport routes. Then a way to book a tour without phoning.
School website design that respects that order beats a homepage full of mission statements. We build year-group and curriculum pages that can rank on their own, an admissions section that walks through each step, and forms that drop straight into your CRM. Bilingual schools need Arabic pages built properly right-to-left, not machine-translated afterthoughts. Our website development work covers the build, and our notes on Dubai website design projects cover the local specifics.
KHDA, ADEK and the rules on education advertising
Education advertising in Dubai is pre-approved. KHDA’s guidelines for advertising and marketing require schools, training institutes and higher education providers to get approval before publishing, and KHDA reviews the institution’s own website too. A few rules shape our campaigns directly:
- Claims about awards, rankings and partnerships need evidence and dates.
- Testimonials need proof of permission and can’t be presented as absolute truth.
- Raffles, draws and gift-led incentives to register students aren’t permitted; scholarships are a separate matter.
- A school whose premises aren’t ready must say so in enrolment ads, with a likely opening date.
- The overall inspection rating can appear in commercial enrolment ads only after all school inspection reports are on KHDA’s website.
In Abu Dhabi, ADEK’s Irtiqa’a inspection rating and National Identity Mark now appear on plaques at every private school’s entrance, so parents arrive knowing your rating. Your website should explain it honestly, including what you’re improving. We build approval lead time into every campaign calendar and keep a record of what was approved and when.
University SEO: programmes, international applicants and sprawling sites
University SEO works more like a large catalogue than a brochure. Every programme is a product page, and each competes for its own searches: “MSc data science in Dubai”, “BBA with internship UAE”, “part-time MBA evenings”. International applicants search from home, in their own phrasing, and they ask questions local students don’t, such as whether the degree is recognised in their country and what student visas involve.
The technical side is usually worse than the content. Course finders that generate thousands of thin filter URLs, prospectuses only available as PDFs, and old department microsites competing with the main domain. We clean that up first, then build programme pages with entry requirements, outcomes, accreditation and faculty in visible text. For Abu Dhabi institutions, see our notes on Abu Dhabi SEO; the wider method sits under our full SEO service.
Admissions is a pipeline: the CRM side
Most schools we meet track enquiries in a spreadsheet and a shared inbox. Then a sibling enquiry gets lost, or a family on the waitlist for Year 3 never hears that a place opened.
An admissions CRM fixes the basics. Every enquiry from the website, WhatsApp, events and walk-ins lands in one pipeline with stages that match your process: enquiry, tour, assessment, offer, enrolment. Siblings link to one family record. Waitlists are ranked and visible. Re-enrolment reminders go out on time. Campaign tags (our free UTM link builder creates them) show which open day or ad produced each enrolment. Our admissions CRM implementation sets this up in HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce.
Mistakes we see in school and university marketing
- Ads booked to start before KHDA approval arrives, then paused.
- A homepage video that loads slowly on a parent’s phone and says nothing about curriculum.
- Fee information hidden behind a form, which sends parents to schools that publish it.
- University programme pages copied from the prospectus PDF, with no entry requirements in text.
- No follow-up after the tour, the moment most families actually decide.
Questions
Do school ads in Dubai need KHDA approval?
Yes. KHDA's advertising guidelines say educational providers must get approval for advertising and marketing material before it's published, under Article 27 of KHDA Resolution No. 1. That covers print, broadcast, online ads and the institution's own website. Approvals are valid for three months, so long campaigns need resubmitting.
Can a school advertise its KHDA or ADEK inspection rating?
In Dubai, schools may share their final inspection reports on their website, but KHDA only allows the overall rating in commercial enrolment ads once all school inspection reports have been published on its site. In Abu Dhabi, ADEK now requires private schools to display their Irtiqa'a rating on a plaque at the entrance.
What should a school website include?
Curriculum and how it's taught, results and inspection reports, the admissions process step by step, fee information or where to find it, transport routes, a staff and leadership page, and an easy way to book a tour. Parents shortlist on a phone, often late at night, so it all has to work on mobile.
How is university SEO different from school SEO?
Universities have hundreds of programme pages, international audiences searching from other countries, and accreditation questions to answer on every page. School SEO is local and parent-led. University SEO is closer to e-commerce: a large catalogue, filters, comparison searches and a long decision cycle.
When should admissions marketing start?
Well before your intake. Most UAE schools start the academic year in late August or September, while Indian-curriculum schools start in April, and families research months earlier. We map campaigns backward from your intake, open days and KHDA approval time rather than starting when places look hard to fill.
Can we use parent testimonials in school ads?
Yes, with evidence. KHDA's guidelines require proof that you have permission to use each testimonial and say testimonials can't be presented as absolute truth. Claims about awards, rankings or partnerships also need evidence and dates. We collect written permission at the same time as the quote.
Do you work with universities outside the UAE?
Yes. We work remotely with institutions across the Gulf and beyond, and international recruitment is often the reason they call. The SEO work changes by market: different search terms, different competitor universities and different questions about recognition of the degree back home.
