Healthcare Marketing Agency in Dubai
VDESIGNU is a healthcare marketing agency based in Dubai. We help clinics, medical centres and health suppliers get found on Google and Google Maps across the city, run Google Ads that stay inside Google's health policies, and write every page and post to the DHA standards your medical director has to sign off.
Talk to us about DubaiWhat's included
Treatment and specialty pages patients trust
One page per treatment, reviewed by a named clinician from your team, written in plain English and Arabic, with risks and recovery described as honestly as the benefits.
A Maps profile for every branch, and for doctors where allowed
Facility profiles for each Dubai location, plus practitioner profiles for doctors who see patients there, set up the way Google's guidelines describe.
Copy and creative checked against DHA standards
No banned absolutes, before-and-after images with the required disclaimer, consent on file for every patient who appears, and the licence number on your official accounts.
Google Ads inside the health policy
Search campaigns built on what patients type, since Google blocks remarketing lists and Customer Match for health advertisers, with landing pages that carry approved claims only.
Insurance and district searches covered
Pages that answer which insurance networks you accept and which areas you serve, because many Dubai patients search that way before they search for a doctor.
Lead generation for medical suppliers
Technical product pages and enquiry tracking for equipment and device companies selling to hospitals, labs and clinics, where the buyer is a specifier rather than a patient.
SEO in Dubai
What should a Dubai healthcare marketing agency fix first?
The compliance gaps and the Google Maps listings, before any money goes on ads. In Dubai a withdrawn post or a suspended profile costs more than a slow month, and most clinics we audit have both risks somewhere. Fix the approval process and the branch profiles, then build treatment pages and campaigns on top.
Picture a dermatology clinic on Al Wasl Road. Its Instagram has a run of before-and-after reels with no disclaimer, three doctors share one Google profile, and the Google Ads send every click to the homepage. None of that is unusual. All of it is fixable, and the order matters.
The approval chain behind every post and ad
People search for “DHA advertising approval” as if it were one stamp. In practice a Dubai clinic’s marketing passes through several checks:
- A MOHAP medical advertisement licence. DHA’s Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media require the facility’s official account to state that licence number.
- Your medical director’s sign-off. Any content naming the facility or its location, whether posted by the clinic, a doctor, an admin or an influencer, needs the medical director’s approval.
- DHA’s content rules. No absolute claims, no testimonials without written consent, no time-limited discounts the clinic can’t honour, and no filming of patients during surgery or under general anaesthesia for promotion.
- Google’s own policies, which apply on top for anything you run as an ad.
The standards also ask facilities to archive posts with their edits so they can be audited. We keep that archive, with the approval behind each item, as part of the work.
Clinics inside Dubai Healthcare City are licensed through the free zone’s own authority, not DHA, so check its rules before borrowing a mainland clinic’s playbook.
Clinic local SEO across Dubai’s districts
Patients choose a GP, dentist or physiotherapist largely by distance, so your Maps ranking changes from district to district. A clinic in Al Barsha can rank well for searchers in Al Barsha and barely appear for someone in Mirdif or Dubai Marina, even for the same treatment.
That’s why every branch needs its own profile with its own category, hours and phone number, and why we track rankings on a geo-grid around each branch rather than from one office. Doctors who see patients there can have practitioner profiles under Google’s Business Profile guidelines, which helps when patients search a doctor’s name.
Two search habits are particular to Dubai healthcare:
- Insurance first. Many patients search for a clinic that takes their insurance before they search for a specialty. A page listing the networks you accept, kept current, answers that.
- Two languages, different words. Arabic-speaking patients describe symptoms and treatments in their own terms, often in Gulf dialect, so Arabic treatment pages are researched and written, not translated.
Review replies need care too. Thanking someone “for choosing us for your treatment” confirms in public that they’re a patient, so we write reply templates that stay warm and say nothing clinical.
Google Ads for clinics: what the health policy allows
Google’s healthcare and medicines policy restricts prescription drugs, unproven treatments and some health products, and health is a sensitive interest category, so you can’t target people with remarketing lists or Customer Match.
So clinic campaigns run on search intent: one ad group per treatment, landing on the matching treatment page, with copy that passes both DHA’s standards and Google’s review. Calls and WhatsApp taps are tracked as conversions, since most patients don’t fill in forms. Our paid search for Dubai businesses page covers the tracking side in more detail.
Medical suppliers: a different buyer
Not every healthcare client sees patients. WinHyCare supplies medical cold-chain equipment such as ultra-low temperature freezers and blood bank refrigeration, working from Dubai and Hyderabad. We built its website and run its SEO and lead generation.
Its buyers are biomedical engineers, lab managers and procurement teams. They search by product type and specification, compare datasheets, and take weeks to decide. The marketing that works for them is a clear technical catalogue, pages that match specification searches, and enquiry tracking that follows a quote through to an order.
Where this fits with the rest of our Dubai work
For non-medical SEO in the city, see our search engine optimisation work in Dubai. Clinics that mainly need Maps visibility can start with Google Maps optimisation in Dubai. The sector-wide view, including Abu Dhabi and Saudi rules, is on our healthcare marketing agency page, and the method behind it on our approach to SEO. Everything else we do here is on the everything we offer in Dubai.
Selected work
How we work
- 01
Audit
A full crawl, a Search Console review and a look at who outranks you for the terms that bring in revenue. You get a ranked list of problems, not a raw tool export.
- 02
Fix the foundations
Indexing, redirects, hreflang and speed come first. Content published on a broken foundation struggles to rank however good it is.
- 03
Build the keyword map
English and Arabic keywords assigned to existing or new pages, one clear target per page, so your own pages stop competing with each other.
- 04
Publish and earn links
New and improved pages go live on a steady schedule while outreach and PR run alongside.
- 05
Report and adjust
Each month we compare queries, pages and leads against the baseline and move effort toward whatever is working.
Questions
Do I need DHA approval to advertise my clinic in Dubai?
Several approvals stack up. Medical advertising needs a MOHAP medical advertisement licence, and DHA's standards require your official social accounts to show its number. Your medical director must approve any content that names the facility, including posts by staff and influencers. Facilities in Dubai Healthcare City answer to their own free zone authority instead.
Can we use patient testimonials and before-and-after photos?
Only with written consent from the patient, kept on file. DHA's standards say before-and-after images must show the same person, shot with the same lens and not edited, with a statement that results vary and the risks, in the same font size as the rest of the post.
Which words can't a Dubai clinic use in its marketing?
DHA's standards list absolute and exaggerated terms such as unique, one of a kind, the best, exclusive, safest, the only, miraculous, assured success, has no side effects and immediate results. They also rule out unsupported comparisons with other treatments and promises about recovery time that set unrealistic expectations.
Can a doctor have a Google Business Profile separate from the clinic?
Often, yes. Google's guidelines let a public-facing practitioner who can be reached at the location during stated hours have their own profile, separate from the practice. A solo practitioner at a branded clinic gets a single profile named in the brand: practitioner format instead.
Can we run remarketing ads for our clinic?
Not in the usual way. Google lists health as a sensitive interest category, so health advertisers can't use advertiser-curated audiences such as remarketing lists or Customer Match. You reach patients through the searches they type and the pages those searches land on.
Do you work with medical suppliers as well as clinics?
Yes. We built the website and run SEO and lead generation for WinHyCare, which supplies medical cold-chain equipment from Dubai and Hyderabad. Supplier marketing runs on technical product pages, specification downloads and slow, multi-person buying decisions, so it looks quite different from clinic marketing.
