Website Design and Web Development in Abu Dhabi
We design and build websites for Abu Dhabi companies: bilingual in English and Arabic, quick on a phone, and structured so Google and AI assistants can read every page. Our team works from Dubai on Astro, Next.js, WordPress and Shopify, and runs Abu Dhabi projects remotely from the first brief to launch day.
Talk to us about Abu DhabiWhat's included
Arabic designed, not mirrored
Right-to-left layouts planned from the wireframe stage, with Arabic type chosen for the screen and line lengths that suit it, so the Arabic site doesn't feel like a flipped copy.
Credentials where buyers look
Licence details, ADGM or ADDED registration, DoH facility licences, ICV certificates and project references placed where a procurement team or patient will check them.
The right platform for the job
Astro or Next.js when speed and search matter most, WordPress when your team edits daily, Shopify for stores, and a headless CMS such as Sanity when content has to feed several channels.
Fast on mobile networks
Core Web Vitals treated as a design constraint, with images, fonts and scripts kept lean for buyers browsing on a phone.
SEO-safe launch or migration
Redirect maps, metadata, structured data and Search Console checks done before the switch, so an Abu Dhabi site keeps the rankings it already earned.
Care after launch
Updates, backups, uptime checks and small changes handled on a care plan, so the site doesn't drift once the project ends.
Web Design in Abu Dhabi
What an Abu Dhabi buyer checks on your site
An Abu Dhabi buyer usually arrives on your website to confirm a decision, not to start one. They’ve heard your name in a meeting, seen it on a tender list or got it from a colleague. In the minute they give you, they’re checking that you’re real, licensed, experienced in their sector and easy to reach.
That shapes the design. The main menu leads with services and sectors. Licence details and approvals sit in the footer and on the About page. References are grouped by sector, and a contact route (phone, WhatsApp, form) is visible on every page. None of it is decoration, and all of it decides whether the site gets you the call.
Bilingual from the wireframe
Arabic matters more in the capital than many site owners expect. It’s the working language of government here, and a lot of family-owned groups prefer it. Yet many Abu Dhabi sites treat Arabic as a mirrored copy: the layout flipped, icons pointing the wrong way, Arabic text crammed into boxes sized for English.
We design both versions together. Arabic gets type chosen for screen reading, spacing that suits the script, and menus that read naturally right to left. Each language gets its own URLs and proper hreflang tags (our Arabic hreflang tool generates them), so Google serves the right version.
Sector rules that change the build
Several Abu Dhabi sectors have rules that reach into the website itself:
| Sector | What it changes on the site |
|---|---|
| Property | Each listing shows its ADREC Madhmoun permit |
| Healthcare | Treatment pages follow DoH health advertising rules; patient data stays in approved systems under ADHICS |
| Finance in ADGM | Marketing material carries the firm’s name and FSRA regulatory status |
| Retail | Sale banners and discount pages run alongside ADDED promotion permits |
We plan these into templates, so your team can’t publish a listing without its permit number or a promotion without the right details.
An e-commerce build for Dubai and Abu Dhabi
HAMAC is a beach boutique selling designer swimwear and resort wear online and in stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We built HAMAC’s e-commerce store to feel like the shelf it came from (bright, edited, easy to move through), and we run its SEO. Retail sites for customers in both cities need delivery, stock and store information that works for each, and that’s built into the structure rather than bolted on.
How the project runs between Dubai and Abu Dhabi
We work with Abu Dhabi clients remotely, and the process is built for that:
- Kickoff call to agree goals, audiences, sitemap and who signs off.
- Shared design files you can comment on directly, in English and Arabic.
- A staging site from the first build week, so you see real pages early.
- Weekly check-ins and a WhatsApp group for quick decisions.
- Launch checklist covering redirects, tracking, forms and Search Console.

How we work
- 01
Audit and scope
We crawl your current site, pull Search Console data and list every page that earns traffic, links or leads. That list protects the launch and shapes the scope.
- 02
Structure and design
Sitemap, page templates and a content plan come first. Visual design follows, in both languages, reviewed on phones.
- 03
Build on staging
Development happens on a private staging link you can click through from the first templates, with real content entered as each template is finished.
- 04
Pre-launch checks
Redirects tested, Core Web Vitals measured, forms and analytics verified, Arabic pages read by a native speaker, basic accessibility checked.
- 05
Launch and watch
We go live, submit sitemaps and check crawl errors, indexing and rankings closely for the first weeks, fixing anything that slips.
Questions
How long does it take to build a website in Abu Dhabi?
A focused company site usually takes a few weeks of design and build after the content is ready. E-commerce stores, bilingual sites with many templates, and sites with portals or integrations take longer. We give you a dated schedule after scoping, and content readiness is usually what decides it.
What do government and semi-government buyers expect from a supplier's website?
Expect them to check that the company name and licence match what's on file, that there's a proper Arabic version, and that certifications, sector experience and contact details are easy to find. A capability statement they can download also helps when they're building a shortlist.
Can you build a property website that shows Madhmoun permit details?
Yes. Since July 2025 every property advertisement in Abu Dhabi needs an ADREC Madhmoun permit, so we add a permit field to each listing template and display it on the page. We can also connect listings to your CRM so the permit details stay in step.
Should our website be hosted in the UAE?
For most marketing sites, a fast global CDN matters more than server location. Healthcare is different: patient data in Abu Dhabi falls under DoH's ADHICS standard, so we keep it out of the marketing site and send it to systems your compliance team has approved.
WordPress or a custom build?
WordPress suits teams that publish often and want familiar editing. A custom Astro or Next.js build suits sites where speed, security and search performance matter more than plugins. We'll recommend one after seeing how your team works.
How much does website design cost in Abu Dhabi?
It depends on the number of templates, the languages, any e-commerce or integrations, and how much content we write. We scope after a short call and a look at your current site.
