Abu Dhabi, UAE Google Ads

Google Ads Agency in Abu Dhabi

We plan and manage Google Ads for Abu Dhabi businesses, judged on enquiries and sales rather than clicks. That covers Search, Performance Max and YouTube retargeting, Meta or LinkedIn where they suit your buyer, landing pages, and tracking for calls, forms and WhatsApp. We run accounts remotely from Dubai.

What's included

Account audit and rebuild

Campaign structure, match types, negative keywords and bidding reviewed against what actually produced enquiries, then rebuilt where the old setup is wasting money.

Location targeting that fits your area

The capital, Al Ain and Al Dhafra targeted separately, with Dubai excluded when you don't serve it and radius targeting for businesses that rely on short drives.

Permit checks before launch

Health ads, property ads, sale offers and financial promotions checked against DoH, ADREC, ADDED and FSRA requirements before a campaign goes live.

Arabic and English campaigns

Separate ad groups, copy and landing pages for each language, so an Arabic search lands on an Arabic page.

Conversion tracking you can verify

GA4 and Tag Manager configured for forms, calls and WhatsApp clicks, with lead quality fed back from your CRM where possible.

Landing pages per campaign

Pages built for one offer and one audience, fast on mobile, with the proof an Abu Dhabi buyer needs before filling in a form.

Google Ads in Abu Dhabi

Fewer searches, higher stakes per click

In many Abu Dhabi categories, the people searching each month are a short list rather than a crowd. That makes Google Ads here less about volume and more about precision: every irrelevant click spends money you needed for a real buyer, and a badly targeted campaign can burn a month’s budget before it finds one.

So we start narrow. Exact and phrase match on the terms that signal intent, tight location targeting, and an ad schedule that follows when your buyers actually work. Broader campaigns come later, once the account has conversion data to learn from.

Permits come before keywords

Some Abu Dhabi campaigns can’t launch until paperwork is done. The rules to check:

If you advertiseCheck first
Health servicesDoH health advertising rules; ads logged via TAMM; ADDED licence if there’s an offer
PropertyADREC Madhmoun permit for each listing
Sales and discountsADDED sales or seasonal promotion permit
Investment products (ADGM)FSRA financial promotion rules, plus Google’s financial services policy
Creator content on socialUAE Media Council advertiser permit for the creator

Getting this wrong costs more than a disapproved ad. It can mean penalties and a damaged account history. We build the checks into the launch plan.

Where Abu Dhabi accounts leak money

These are the leaks to look for in an Abu Dhabi account:

  • Location set to “presence or interest”. Ads show to people outside the UAE who once searched for Abu Dhabi.
  • No Dubai exclusion for businesses that won’t travel up the E11.
  • Arabic searches sent to English pages, or Arabic ads written as literal translations.
  • Job seekers clicking. Abu Dhabi company names attract vacancy searches, so “jobs”, “careers” and “salary” belong in your negatives.
  • A page view counted as a conversion, which tells the bidding system nothing about real leads.
  • Performance Max with no brand exclusions, quietly taking credit for people who were already looking for you.

Tracking a finance team will accept

Click-through rates won’t convince your CFO. Enquiries will. We set up GA4 and Tag Manager so forms, tap-to-call and WhatsApp clicks are recorded as separate conversions, tag every campaign link consistently (our free UTM link builder keeps naming tidy), and, where your CRM allows, import qualified leads and closed deals back into Google Ads. Then the bidding optimises for buyers, and the monthly report shows cost per qualified enquiry.

We set out our Google Ads and PPC approach in full on the service page. Ads only work as well as the page they land on, so many clients pair this with a faster Abu Dhabi landing page or site, and with a CRM that follows up every lead so paid enquiries don’t go cold. The Abu Dhabi marketing overview covers the wider market, and Dubai Google Ads management shows how we run accounts in the city we’re based in.

How we work

  1. 01

    Tracking audit

We check what your account currently counts as a conversion. If it's page views or a duplicated tag, Google has been optimising for the wrong thing.

  2. 02

    Fix measurement

Tags, GA4 events, call and WhatsApp tracking and the CRM connection go in, and each is tested with a real submission.

  3. 03

    Policy and permit check

For healthcare, property and financial services we check Google's policies and local advertising permits before launch, so ads aren't disapproved on day one.

  4. 04

    Build or restructure

Campaigns, keywords, negatives, ads and landing pages built around the leads you want, in the languages your buyers search in.

  5. 05

    Optimise weekly, report monthly

Search terms, bids and ads reviewed every week; once a month we tie spend to qualified leads and deals.

Questions

Can we target only Abu Dhabi without paying for Dubai clicks?

Yes. Target the emirate or specific areas, exclude Dubai, and set location options to people in or regularly in your targeted area rather than the default that includes people merely interested in it. That one setting often stops a lot of irrelevant clicks from outside the city.

Do property ads on Google need an Abu Dhabi permit?

ADREC made a Madhmoun permit mandatory for all types of real estate advertisement in the emirate from 7 July 2025, issued through DARI to registered brokers. We show the permit details on landing pages and keep each ad tied to a permitted listing.

Can a clinic run Google Ads in Abu Dhabi?

Yes, within Google's healthcare policies and the Department of Health's rules on health advertising. Health ads in the emirate are logged with DoH through TAMM, and ads with offers also need an ADDED advertising licence. We plan copy and landing pages to fit both before launch.

Our ADGM firm offers investment products. Can we advertise them?

Carefully. ADGM restricts financial promotions to authorised firms or approved content, and FSRA rules require marketing material to state the firm's name and regulatory status. Google adds its own financial services policies, including certification for some products. We build campaigns with your compliance officer involved.

Should we run Google Ads in Arabic in Abu Dhabi?

If your customers search in Arabic, yes. Arabic terms can be cheaper when fewer competitors bid on them, and the ads need their own copy and landing pages to convert. We test both languages and let the results decide the split.

What should we budget for Google Ads in Abu Dhabi?

It depends on click costs in your category, how many enquiries you need and your close rate. Some B2B terms in the capital are expensive per click, so we model the numbers with you before recommending a budget.
