Medina, Saudi Arabia Web Design
Website Design in Medina
We design and build websites for Medina hotels, Ziyarah and transport operators, dates shops and retailers. Our sites handle Arabic and Urdu right to left alongside English, Indonesian and Turkish, load quickly on a visitor's roaming connection, and take direct bookings or orders with Saudi payment methods. We work with Medina clients remotely from Dubai.

Web Design in Medina
What a Medina website has to do
A Medina website has to answer a visitor’s practical questions in their own language, quickly, then let them book or order without friction. For a hotel, that means distance and route to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, room details and a direct booking path. For a dates shop, it means clear varieties, gift options and a checkout that works with Saudi payment methods.
Most Medina sites we look at manage part of this. A striking photo of the Green Dome, an English page, a thinner Arabic page and a phone number. The questions visitors actually came with go unanswered.
Two scripts, two directions, many languages
Medina sites often need Arabic and Urdu, both right to left but with very different letterforms, alongside English, Indonesian, Malay and Turkish, which run left to right. Getting this right is mostly invisible work: layouts that mirror properly, phone numbers and prices that don’t flip, and an Urdu font in Nastaliq style that doesn’t add seconds to the load.
The language switcher shows each language in its own script, not as a flag, since no flag stands for Urdu or Arabic alone. Every version gets its own URL, hreflang tags and right-to-left meta tags (our RTL meta tag generator produces them).
Hotel sites: from search to booking
A guest arriving from search wants three answers fast: how far, what the rooms are like, and whether there’s space on their dates. We put walking time and a route map near the top, show real room photos with sizes and bed layouts, and connect your booking engine so availability is one tap away.
Groups book differently. Ziyarah and Umrah group organisers want to ask about blocks of rooms and transport, usually on WhatsApp. A separate group page with a short form and a WhatsApp button serves them far better than the individual booking flow.
Dates and gift shops online
Medina dates sell as gifts, as wholesale stock and to visitors who want to reorder once they’re home. A good store presents each variety with its texture, size and storage advice, offers gift boxes, and accepts mada, Apple Pay and instalment options such as Tabby and Tamara. VAT-registered sellers must issue e-invoices under ZATCA’s Fatoora rules, so we connect the store to an invoicing setup that does.
For reorders from abroad, the store should show only the destinations you ship to and give honest delivery times.
Fast on a visitor’s phone
Visitors browse on roaming data, fresh eSIMs and crowded hotel Wi-Fi. We build on Astro or Next.js, serve images at the size they’re shown, keep scripts to a minimum and test on real mobile connections, so the page is usable before the visitor gives up.
Related services
A site needs visitors, so most Medina clients pair it with search optimization for Medina businesses and a CRM that catches WhatsApp enquiries. Our website design and build process explains how a project runs; the nearest comparison is web design for Jeddah businesses, including the website we built for Lola. The Medina hub covers how we work remotely.

How we work
- 01
Audit and scope
We crawl your current site, pull Search Console data and list every page that earns traffic, links or leads. That list protects the launch and shapes the scope.
- 02
Structure and design
Sitemap, page templates and a content plan come first. Visual design follows, in both languages, reviewed on phones.
- 03
Build on staging
Development happens on a private staging link you can click through from the first templates, with real content entered as each template is finished.
- 04
Pre-launch checks
Redirects tested, Core Web Vitals measured, forms and analytics verified, Arabic pages read by a native speaker, basic accessibility checked.
- 05
Launch and watch
We go live, submit sitemaps and check crawl errors, indexing and rankings closely for the first weeks, fixing anything that slips.
Questions
Which languages should our Medina website support at launch?
Arabic and English, plus the one or two languages most of your guests speak. Add more only when you have fluent writers and staff who can reply in them. A site in three good languages works better than one in seven poor ones, for guests and for Google.
Can our hotel site take bookings directly instead of through booking platforms?
Yes. We connect your booking engine so guests can check availability and book on your site, and add WhatsApp for those who'd rather ask first. Booking platforms will still send guests; a direct path gives returning guests and groups a reason to come straight to you.
Do you build online stores for dates shops that ship outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We build the store, the product structure and the checkout. Import rules for food differ by country, so you'll confirm which destinations you can serve, and we make the site show each customer only the options that apply to them.
Does our website need to follow Saudi data protection law?
If it collects personal data, yes. The Personal Data Protection Law, overseen by SDAIA, covers guest names, phone numbers and especially passport copies. We build forms that ask only for what you need, explain why, and store it securely.
Can you design our site without visiting our property?
Yes, and that's how we work on every Medina project. We work from video calls, floor plans and photos your team or a local photographer takes to our shot list. Honest photos of rooms and the walk to the mosque do more for bookings than staged ones.
How much does website design in Medina cost?
It depends on the number of languages, whether you need booking or e-commerce, and how much content exists already. We scope each site after a free review of your current one and a call.
